I’m a big fan of cleansers. That might sound like a strange thing to say, but I love finding a new cleanser that is effective yet gentle on my skin. I love the feel of a calming and nourishing cleanser. Most days I enjoy spending time indulging in my skincare routine, especially at night. Some days however, I just want to get into bed! So I added the Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes* to my latest LoveLula* order so I could give them a go for those days when I want a quick skincare routine (or when I’m travelling).
You get 30 wipes in the pack and they’re suitable for all skin types. The main ingredients are coconut water (to gently remove toxins, oils, pollutants and make up), papaya (a natural exfoliant), and aloe vera and calendula (which sooth the skin). They’re vegan, cruelty free, and formulate without sulphates, petroleum, parabens, SLS and phthalates. They come in a resealable pouch with a plastic flip top lid which I imagine will help to keep them moist.
I tested them out last night and I’m pleased to report it’s a big tick for me. They smell really good! They’re dryer than other face wipes I’ve used, but they’re still very effective. I was wearing make up last night (including mascara) and it got rid of that easily and left my skin feeling clean but moisturised. As I have fairly dry skin I did moisturise too, but I just used those two steps (skipping my usual toner and serum). This morning my skin feels great!
I’ll definitely be keeping some of these in ready for those days when I don’t feel like doing a full skincare routine, or I might use them as my first stage in my Cleansing routine before a full facial cleanse. I’m sure I’ll also be popping these into my bag when I’m staying overnight somewhere, and I can see them being handy for after the gym too.
A convenient staple item for removing make up and cleansing skin quickly and effectively. Handy for travel.
Yes, I think these may well become a regular item for me. I love the scent and they’re so convenient. They’re a great price point too and of course cruelty free and vegan. What’s not to love?!
Based on my experience so far I recommend checking out the rest of the Pacifica* range too – I’m enjoying the Alight Multi-Mineral BB cream* (which I previously reviewed) and the Color Quench Lip Tints* (full review of all lip tints shades coming soon). If anyone has any Pacifica recommendations, please let me know as I’m really liking this brand at the moment.
