I’ve been trying out a couple of different Pure & Light Organic Skincare* products from LoveLula* and am so impressed! The brand have won numerous awards and based on my experience I can see why. I tried the Revitalising Facial Exfoliation* and the Essential Face Cream*.
Both products I tried are suitable for all skin types, which is a key selling point of Pure & Light products. They say their products have:
“formulations that can cleverly adapt to the unique needs of ALL types of skin – from hyper-sensitive, dry, dull, dehydrated and mature, to oily, blemished and eczema-prone”
This is really refreshing especially for those of us with combination skin.
Pure & Light Organic Revitalising Facial Exfoliation* (50ml, £28)
I was really surprised by this product (in a good way!). I’ve always thought a physical exfoliator would be too harsh to use on your face every day, but this has demonstrated this isn’t the case. It is an exfoliator (using berry seeds to exfoliate), but primarily it’s a cream cleanser. I tend to prefer gel or balm cleansers but I have to say my skin seems to love this cream cleanser. It cleanses my skin without leaving it ‘squeaky’ clean, and adds nourishment as well. It contains 32 active natural ingredients and my skin seems to love them! I wasn’t sure about the scent of the product at first, but over time I’ve grown to love it (does anyone else do this where they like the scent more as time goes on?).
I’ve been using it every morning for a few weeks now and I really enjoy using it and loves how it makes my skin feel. It leaves it lovely and clean without feeling dry; it’s the perfect first step in a morning; my skin feels cleansed and ready to absorb other products after using this.
Pure & Light Organic Essential Face Cream* (50ml, £34)
The moisturiser from Pure & Light Organic is another lovely product. We received a sample sized version of this in a LoveLula Beauty Box recently too, and I’ve used that all up and am probably a good halfway through this full sized one (always a good sign, especially with moisturisers as I have so many I alternate between!). The moisturiser is a fairly thick white cream and it absorbs into the skin well. I find you only need a small amount and it leaves the skin lovely and smooth – it’s a great primer if you are wearing makeup. The ingredients in this include 27 active certified organic ingredients naturally rich in vitamins and antioxidants which combine to make an effective and gentle moisturiser. This sort of product is perfect for my combination skin.
Overall, I’m so impressed with the Pure & Light Organic products I’ve tried and am eager to try more. They’re a little pricier than drugstore brands, but not crazy expensive and I think they’re definitely worth their value.
Have you tried anything from Pure & Light Organic Skincare*? Any recommendations?
