Hello and welcome back to the reflecting part of the TRUE Leaders Programme. This is part five, the final part of reflecting which is where we bring everything together that we have learned in the last four parts.

So in this section, we have thought about what reflection is and what it means to us. Then, we looked at models of reflection and we put one into practice -- the Rolfe model of reflection which was the "What?", "So what?", and "Now what?". Then, we thought about reflecting for us, and what works best for us; what sort of conditions, what sort of time, what sort of methods, what works well for us. Then, we thought about how do we reflect with others and that was about collaborative reflection, and also about how we support other people with their reflection and how they can support us with our reflection. So, as we did with "trusting," the final part of this is to bring all of that learning together. Interestingly, now, we are going to be reflecting on reflecting.

So, if we think about the "so what" and the "now what," what have you learned from the different parts of this part of the programme? Is there a specific thing that stood out to you that reminded you of something or perhaps some new learning from something in one of the exercises that you have done or some of the thinking that you have done around this area? So, what has come out of that that has been helpful for you? What have you learned about reflecting and what have you learned about yourself through this process? So, that is the first part of this bit. The second part, as you can probably imagine now that you know, this model of reflection that I use is around a "now what." So, what will you do differently as a result of what you have learned about reflecting and what you have learned about yourself and how you reflect best?

So, there are two parts. The first part is what have you learned about reflection. The second part is what will you do differently as a result. Again, that might be just from one of the parts of what we have done. It might be from a culmination of a few of them or it may be from something else that has happened as you have been thinking about this that has been particularly relevant to you that you are going to be taking forward. So, that is reflecting in a nutshell.

Reflecting is one that definitely does not come to an end. It is an ongoing process. This is why it is a cycle. It is not something that you just do and then that is it. This is definitely one that you will keep with you. So, the final thing that I would like you to do and we will come back to this at the end of the programme, but the final thing that I would like you to do particularly in reflecting is to start to think about what period of time where it is for you, in terms of your reflection, are there different things that you would like to do at different periods of time to help you regularly reflect? Now regularly, it is up to you what that timescale means. It might be daily. It might be weekly. It might be monthly. It might be quarterly. It might be yearly. Whatever works for you, but it is about thinking about what you might do in those times because you may have some things that you do every day, and something you might be brushing your teeth and you are thinking, reflecting on the day; thinking about what is going on well, celebrating that, having a little "Yay! This went really well today" or "this I could have handled a little bit better." Thinking about the "so what." What I have learned from this experience? Then thinking about "now what." What will you do differently as a result of this thing that went well or did not go so well? What will that change for me? So, it could just be something as small as that and it could be something much bigger where you actually start to reflect in a more formal way at the end of every month or longer period of time. Just think about what works for you; what timescales work, what methods work and how can you use that to help yourself going forwards.

That brings us to a close of the second part of the TRUE Leaders Programme. So, time for another little mini celebration. Celebrate your successes. Thank you for investing this time to think about reflection and what it means to you. I will see you in the next part where we start to think about the U in TRUE which is all around understanding. So, thank you so much. I will see you soon.
